LOCATIONS

Welcome to La Dive, a charming gem nestled in the heart of Capitol Hill at 721 E Pike St, Seattle, WA 98122. This eclectic wine bar stands out not just for its extensive selection of adult beverages but also for its inviting atmosphere and delicious offerings. As a food reviewer with a penchant for discovering unique culinary experiences, La Dive has certainly piqued my interest.

At La Dive, a delightful assortment of snacks sets the stage for a memorable evening. Diners can indulge in:

  • Boursin Cheese and Crackers - a smooth, herb-infused cheese perfect for pairing with your favorite wine ($9.00)
  • House Snack Mix - an addictive blend of nuts, pretzels, rye chips, and caramel corn for just $5.00
  • Lavash Quesadilla - filled with smoked cheese and spicy carrot relish, this dish oozes flavor ($13.00)

But don’t stop there! The dumplings and noodles are truly a highlight. With offerings like the:

  • Potato and Onion Filled Dumplings served with red chili walnut butter in a vegetarian delight ($10.00)
  • Pork and Beef Filled Dumplings paired with butter, vinegar, and sour cream for a deliciously hearty experience ($10.00)

Moving on to the toasts, La Dive elevates the humble open-faced sandwich to new heights. You might find yourself captivated by:

  • Tuna Melt on rye with aged cheddar and tomato ($14.00)
  • Spiced Roasted Beet “Tartare” - a stunning vegan option with pickled beets and walnuts ($12.00)

Each dish is meticulously crafted, and the reviews echo my feelings. Patrons like 'Rachel Lockwood' have raved about the delicious dumplings, while others, such as 'Quintin Kreth', have celebrated the vibrant ambiance and friendly prices (La Dive is described as an "industry joint" with a fun crowd).

The welcoming vibe is further enhanced by the friendly staff, including standout bartenders who are often praised for their charisma. As noted by 'Jeremy Yowell' and 'Xev Whynaut', experiences at La Dive are as enjoyable as the food and drinks, with exceptional service being a constant theme. Whether you're visiting for a casual drink or a lively evening dinner, La Dive delivers a truly enriching experience.

So, if you find yourself in Seattle, make sure to drop by La Dive. Dive into delightful wines, savor incredible food, and embrace an atmosphere that feels like a home away from home.

One of those iconic “dive” bars, which if you are visiting the Hill, you better not miss this. I hear of celebrity sightings, flirty staff, mirrored bathrooms, all in a non judgmental welcoming place to grab some very refreshing and flavorful adult beverages!

La Dive is a very fun and funky wine bar. It's an industry joint with good prices and a fun crowd. The bartender and atmosphere were a ton of fun when I visited. In addition to the wine, they have tasty cocktails and great snacks from the kitchen. I'll definitely be back!

Went for the Walk MS fundraiser for which the owners were super generous not only with the use of their venue, but with donating proceeds. The atmosphere really made me miss living downtown. Barkeep was friendly and my wife loved the virgin margaritas. Next time I'm in town I'll be trying to go back.
